it really depends on if silas intends to continue translating even if GDscans drops this. This kind of escalation has been seen before and left a series without any translation whatsoever.

Edit: Yeah sure X me out or whatever, doesn't change history or the fact that this kind of thing has happened before. Just look at most series that were done by the scam artist comicdom as the most recent example, alot of them were abandoned for a long ass time before some, not all, were recently picked up again (albeit with shitty mtl). I am not disparraging Silas for doing this, the 40 chapter backlog is rediculous of GDscans, but i am just saying be cautiously cheerful about an escalation based scan race, its resulted in series becoming abandoned before.
