That's interesting. While the father was clearly abusive towards Suzune because of her half-demon biology, the princess, Jinta, Chitose and Kiyomasa actually love her a lot and are all quite aware of her constitution, as dose everyone else in the village. I first thought that Jinta was forced into the job of killing demons in order to protect Suzune's position in the village, but it seems like they are actually fine with her existance- as long as she is able to keep the 'human' image prominant.
I suppose we are going to see more of her 'demon' side, and the way Jinta along the rest will react to it- it seems like the demons were looking for her. I wonder if they have any specific goal in mind with her, or it is simply because she is one of their kin.
