Dude, dungeons popping up on earth has been a thing for years. Solo leveling was far from alone in the genreThis is like the fourth manga I read that has dungeons in our real world setting. Is this Solo Levelling influence?
transported to isekai > killed Demon King > entire party killed, leaving him alone > returned to real world > swore never to fight again > earth threatened by dungeons and monsters > returned to battle as hero from another world > Overpowered strength
None as far as i remember. The MC always either get dragged like this manga, accidentally get dragged because of 'i think the situation is safe to use my power' but get busted right away like Isekai Messiah, or willingly taking up a mantle. At this point there are a lot of stories where people get summoned to another world, forced to be a hero, sent back, and then called to be a hero again. Are they any stories where someone refuses the second call? I can understand a naive person answering the call to heroism once, but after the years of war I can't see myself taking up the mantle again.
I think people misunderstand here. I'm not saying Solo Levelling is progenitor of this genre. I'm saying people such narou writers and LN industry are jumping on bandwagon trend that Solo Levelling created due to its global popularity. I framed that as question even.Dude, dungeons popping up on earth has been a thing for years. Solo leveling was far from alone in the genre
