I know this story is pure nonsense with very little thought put into it, but it really bothers me that there's not even one character in the story addressing the fact that universal beastification would divide humanity like never before. We got a mad scientist saying that turning some people into prey, some into predators, all with different abilities, but overall much more prone to violence and rape than a regular human, would give way to an era of peace and equality, and not once has anyone questioned it. Not even some unnamed commentator on TV or a news article somewhere. There's no one with a bit of common sense for the audience to identify with - the one who was supposed to fill that role is just another beastman now.

I kind of doubt we're looking at everyone singing Kum ba ya about this. Ironically it may be something that Shidou of all people struggles with and some have pointed out may lead to the Ishida Zaibatsu actually becoming the next primary antagonist. We haven't really seen too much on that front just yet given only about half the chapter was focused on resolution. While I am super happy Deshi wasn't dino-chow back in ch 116, they are using her survival for pro-beastification surgery propaganda (Which it is actually really messed up to use someone who survived a near death experience that way) and that's all we've had a chance to really see so far.
