Well I'd say that was a rather... underwhelming ending all considered, but I still had fun working on it for all these years. Not sure if I'll ever translate another of his manga if I decide not to continue translating the Villainess Ranking one (or if he never does put out a sequel) since I've sort of grown tired of his particular schtick and I don't really have it in me to catch up with the massive backlog of Blatodea chapters for instance. His latest manga is an isekai about a cute ninja girl being sent to a fantasy world, which is kind of meh to me premise wise. Good on him though for helping out manga artists new to the business though.
Anyway, I'll be sure to post the last bonus chapter when it comes out in December.
Also, here's an alternate end card I had in mind for Rio.

I did google the author/creator behind the killing bites and did ask if their works were like that. a messy plot.
I am sorry to tell you guys. yes. the plots in his other works.. are also messy. so just you know.

Thank you for the translation. Kinda funny that this is the third time the mangaka goes with the "my waifu is actually part of a secret society that has been ruling the world since times immemorial" reveal at the end. He really has a type.

It wouldn't be super surprising if he came back to Killing Bites the same way he came back to Arachnid with Blattodea, but in a way, it feels like this was already the case with the Pure arc (not counting the Bunny spin-off). I just kind of wish he would realize how campy his writing is and mix a little bit more humour in his works. His Yuri Harem manga is probably my favourite work of his so far, because I can really appreciate it for what it is, rather than enjoying it "ironically" like a bad B-movie.

Himenospia is probably one of my favourite car wreck of all times. Everything is so absolutely stupid in this. It's a shame it got purged from Dex, but it's definitely worth a read. It makes Killing Bites look like Vagabond in comparison.

This crap is finally over. It's funny that by the end, they'd completely forgotten about the original protagonist (who turned into a raven).
