I liked the authors previous work, but somehow this one feels... far more clumsy? rushed? in-your-face?

To me, it feels more like shallow. The characters are pretty bland, the music talk is superficial, the story itself doesn't have much that's unique so far and nothing really happens (they found each other and have been composing ever since... That's it). And we're already 5 chapters in. I can't even remember the characters' names, cause I'm not invested at all.

Tbh, the only reason I'm still reading it is because Kashikaze is the author and I loved Can't Defy the Lonely Girl. Hopefully this'll get better soon...

As much as I love how everything is developing so far, I'm not sure how good it is that Haru is a replacement of Yuu's sister. At least she's aware of it, which doesn't help the romance a lot.

I think it makes their relationship more interesting. Why would conflict and drama be bad for a yuri manga?
