She's got the vice-prez Otohana, at least insofar as chapter 24 kinda alludes to (looking at pgs.7 & 8 of that chapter, at any rate).

Kinda wonder if it's not Koharu herself that she'll end up paired with, though. I actually don't know if there's anyone among the primary or secondary cast that she could conceivably be paired with, at present (I think it's technically even numbers across the board).

Nah, this is closing off all of the triangle angles. This chapter was bringing the central rivalries to a head and reconfirming that Prez knows where she is in the heirarchy.

It brought the Mitsuki/Prez ship to Yuka’s attention, and the Yuka/Koharu ship to Mitsuki’s attention. Now they tie those two plot threads off so they Mitsuki and Yuka can confess and get together without any subsequent drama. Or at least subsequent CLASSROOM drama.

I can understand why people people like the Mitsuki/Prez ship because Prez is a good girl and we want to see her happy, but let's be real. Mitsuki and Yuka is perfect as it is already.

Also, all those stupid rich girls are finally seeing Mitsuki for the hottie that she is. Motorcycle driving, dessert making, absolutely badass of a gyaru like Mitsuki not being the most popular girl at school that everyone confesses to is already insane for a premise.

except it was never the president who was prejudiced toward Mitsuki (or any of that class of girls). Yuka is also part of the "upper caste", so her being with Mitsuki accomplishes the same goal, in that sense.

It'd be more of a point if one of the random first-years who were getting into it with Miu, ended up with one of that second group. Which also clearly isn't happening, so.
Yuka's also seen as one of the more prominent first-years of that caste as well; so she'd not be that far off from Kusuru in terms of "optics" at that point.

Prez is a very unique character and imo the author‘s strongest creation in this work and I like her a lot but there is absolutely no romantic chemistry or tension or anything there. They‘re just two friends who are good for each other.
I honestly have a hard time understanding shipping if it is 100% one sided like here but that‘s a me problem

it does sting even if not actively rooting for her and props to the author for achieving that but I feel it is more so due to her character than what she had with Mitsuki (which I think is even more impressive)
