This customer reminds me of those people who try to theorize how a magician pulls their tricks. Like, yeah, that can be fun to think about, but don't question the magician during the show how they're tricking everyone; You're ruining the magic.
Likewise, why are you questioning her about why she's prostituting herself? Would you like it if you were questioned about why you're having sex with a minor? This exchange only 'works' when both parties decide against their better judgement, ignore the law and leave their personal situations private.
I wonder if he's being inquisitorial in the hopes of appeasing his conscience? Like, "It's OK, she needs this" or something?
