Well she also seems to be wearing a similar ribbon on one of the volume pages, so idk if there's gonna be some 'jealousy' over her looking better in it, or just taking it from her b/c her own mother doesn't let her have nice things or so but i imagine it's prolly gonna lead to the friend group fracturing again or kanae distancing her self and being more codependent with her 'boyfriend'

If not Kanae being the 'center' of the friend group this time and the ribbon girl feeling left out, or that 'handsome' guy on the boss being attracted to kanae and her getting mad over it

Getting real tired of the mean girls arc. Like it makes sense but it feels like such a tone down from how insane the beginning was.

I wouldn't be surprised if she (artist) wrote herself into a corner and plan to never actually get around to it, or some how framed the shaved head guy (tho the one at the beginning was clearly the guy with the same mole but longer hair, although so far the raws are still having him looking normal and not like some shut in dependent on her)

I mean i know you keep bringing this up but she was only meant to be an 'early antagonist'/plot device considering the 'friend group' isn't concerned enough to 'checkup on her', so unless Kanae wants to sadistically gloat and see her suffering , she's just going to end up staying as a hikkikomori/cooped up unless her parents force her to like go to some therapy or so but i don't think they know what happened to her versus a throwaway line about a neighborhood rumor b/c if she died even if they tried to keep it low key i'd think some ppl would've seen like some ambulance or medical worker to take her away (tho based on some of the artist's otherworks i'm surprised she wouldn't have gotten pregnant after the assault. you could try asking them on twitter but idk if they'd rly answer anyone)

Yeah, I remember that I just don't remember who Runa is within the story. I assumed she was the girl Kanae had get assaulted by the older boys but someone said she's a different girl.

A new semester started in the story and they are just showing the perspective of one of the girls from the main “friend group”. The side story of the fat chick was just to give more detail to the side characters. Kandae is back in the story and the focus is going back to her at least based on what’s indicated at the end of the chapter.

Wouldnt' be surprised if it was a plot point like "I stole this from her" and she thinks she's copying her or something or just her being 'jealous' b/c her mom and her are on friendly terms to be like "it's cute, buy it~" versus Kanae's mom who doesn't give a shit about her

this manga is some hot shit that you cant stop reading because its like watching a car crash where you know everyone will get mangled to pieces but you can't look away
only difference is I wouldn't feel an ounce of sadness even if all the characters in the manga died
