Seriously, this author has too much fun drawing ugly people. I've never seen a manga with so many unattractive characters - and I say this as a compliment, since pretty much any other work, even the "ugly, uninteresting background character" is just a haircut away from becoming hotter than magma.

Seriously, this author has too much fun drawing ugly people. I've never seen a manga with so many unattractive characters - and I say this as a compliment, since pretty much any other work, even the "ugly, uninteresting background character" is just a haircut away from becoming hotter than magma.

Go read Diamond is Unbreakable. Mostly of the characters faces and designs here are ugly af, and I think this was the last arc where Araki draw in that style, also Golden Kamui has some "ugly" characters. Sometimes I think Shiruka Bakaudon doesn't work with assistants, because mostly of the background characters are drawning in a lazy way, I want to believe she does this to give her own "style" to her drawings.

Weird for a coach to yell 'we're not done talking ' when it seemed like small talk at first or so but if it was his off hours i don't think it'd be too bad to rush home or so even without the seeing a doctor excuse

I mean kanae is an extreme case , but most teens i imagine wouldn't be good with noticing red flags unless they grew up in an abusive family themselves, but even if some ppl were to be like "That guy/girl's no good for you" even as friends versus parents, that'd just make one double down on sticking with them outta spite/stubbornness , not saying it's right but if kanae gets pregnant/baby traps him, that'd be one more motivation for him to 'drop outta' baseball if it didn't outright cause a scandal.

not to mention, kanae doesn't have friends who would stop her if she was doing something dangerous. she will most listen to their bad advice. my prediction is that kanae is going to see her old friend with hiroshi again. everything is going to spill once everyone sees that guy again

It wouldn't be unthinkable to believe that, especially if he also finds out she already had him participate in a hit on that other girl in the van of doom.

Maybe to the point he's co-dependent on kanae b/c even tho it was in public with an ambulance/police taking them away, his hair did grow out , and i imagine most sports ppl/jocks keep their hair fairly short for the sport so he probably became a shut in at some point or so

It's not the first time I've seen the Miscarriage of Justice Trope with Died in Your Arms Tonight Trope (or something similar) used in the same scene.

The TV news never mentions a name. The one that reveals a photo of Hiroshi is a tabloid journalism site and we all know that that type of site doesn't tend to be the most trustworthy place for news. Other than that the author's weird focus on fleshing out the side characters makes me feel like they will have a more prominent role in causing or being part of the stabbing event. This is why I'm more inclined to believe that the stabbing scene may be misleading.

I'm not sure if that's an inside joke or something. Whenever I research tropes, that's the first site I find on Google search. If there is a better site for trope research I'm all ears because I don't like the site's overly use of memes in their wording.

I choose not to use that site as many of the mods and editors tend to be racist against LGBT communities from other countries. They have gotten into fights with the Asian LGBT community for countless franchises that are often "looked down upon." Plus, they remind me so much.

Along with how they ban an anime calling it "morally wrong" while keeping fucking CUTIES. I don't trust TV Tropes if they hate lolis due to the history of anti lolis tend to be.... Hm, worse? I don't even care for lolis, mind you.... Technically speaking, this manga would be hated by TV tropes by their guidelines too.
