Not at my elementary school! To my memory anyway...How could he claim not to know how? They taught us how to braid back in elementary school arts and crafts.
Making it look good is completely different tho and best left to the competent
Pretty nice chapter. I like the balance of dialogue and montage![]()
My fault. Most people use "interested in" as an implication of heavier romantic interest rather than in a literal sense of being interested in him.My dear fellow internet denizen, perhaps I wasn't clear. I said her actions were enough to show that she was interested, not madly/desperately in love with him. It's the opening step, an invitation to start the dance, not the end game.
Her words are, quote: "Even my boyfriend's never said that" in reference to receiving compliments about her hair (Pretty sure "boyfriend's" is a typo but regardless) She didn't necessarily specify the current status of that relationship within that sentence itself. Which is why when our boy asked for clarification, she did clarify.Im confused on her saying she has a bf but then she said not right now. Can someone explain it to my dumbass
No need to lie here my friend.Dunno never jacked off to a cucumber before
It means that currently at that time there is no boyfriend around.Im confused on her saying she has a bf but then she said not right now. Can someone explain it to my dumbass
It seems like the writer is at least partly aware she's being pretty shitty, the guy tried walking away after she started talking about her ex and he keeps telling her not to bring up his ex. I like him, he seems like a cool MC, not sold on this girl though, she reminds me of some really shitty girls I've known in the past.Ngl, this is not the best way to get a guy interested imo hahaha. I mean he already is, so it's all good. The casual physical touch invitation is good, but to then force him to braid her hair, constantly talk about his ex and also comparing him to her own ex and to give him a girly hairstyle, it's just not exactly optimal xD
I'm sure that lots of guys reading this would like it, but I just know (from personal experience - surprisingly similar to this) that many would find it a bit off-putting. Although I suppose it's rarely enough to make a guy not be interested at all, you can basically do anything you want as a girl and still succeed. The closeness is probably enough to outweigh all of that. It kinda was enough for me, but I didn't really enjoy some of those parts. I suppose I just don't do well with teasing and being forced to do some of this stuff was more annoying than pleasant. It made me feel a bit disrespected at times.
It's just interesting to see some of my experiences be retold like this. This seems to be a female author, so I guess it's not uncommon for women to think like this and enjoy doing these things. To be clear, I don't think it's malicious or wrong. It's just interesting I guess.
Sorry if my thoughts are a bit sloppy here, this just reminded me of my teenage years.
Yeah, I also think the author is aware of it to some degree, though I think she might not fully realize how it may feel for the guy, going by my own experiences xD. I think the girl is cute and she isn't really malicious, but I can't help but feel like the way she interacts with him falls more under the "slightly unappealing" umbrella than the "yeah I totally get why he would like being with her" umbrella. It seems like the writer is at least partly aware she's being pretty shitty, the guy tried walking away after she started talking about her ex and he keeps telling her not to bring up his ex. I like him, he seems like a cool MC, not sold on this girl though, she reminds me of some really shitty girls I've known in the past.
