The bpd label is a bit too easy to slap onto people, she just seems very insecure and anxious, so she needs to be constantly reassured, not healthy but not really bpd

This girl has legendarily bad timing. Asked Ren out before she was considering dating while she had Sui on the brain and is now going to be the first one in the sights of a feral Mizuki. Always 15 minutes early indeed.
She wasn't given a name in her previous appearances (back halves of chapters 1 and 3) and I assume Chitose is an alias since Rin didn't react to it...or Rin just forgot she existed. If it's the former, I wonder if this is a hint of their relationship dynamic going forward. Ren won't date her, but Reina will be a rental girlfriend for Chitose.
But really this story has so many moving parts and potential interactions I have no idea how any of it will go. This shit rules, it's so well structured.

All this lying will basically cause more anxiety and lead mizuka to do something stupid like stalking or worse. Hopefully the author won’t force us to hate mizuka which happens a lot in other manga.
At this point I am rooting for mizuka. Despite her flaws, she is an Interesting character to follow.
Ren is smart. think-before-speak personality. But I think she will have to face the music very soon.

mizuki is just silly, i like her overall, her charisma got me. i think if mc were more honest their relationship would be fun and healthy, since mizuki is shown to not be unyielding, this narrative line about transforming a relationship from something tiring and dicey to a consistent one would be interesting

Mizuki is becoming overbearing and controlling. Ren shouldn’t have jumped into a relationship so soon before getting to know Mizuki more. They are not compatible. After the shower it seems like Mizuki saw the text. I wouldn’t be surprised if she follows Ren since the text says “boyfriend, girlfriend rental”.
And now the girl who liked Ren is back. What will happen? What is she wanting to gain from it? Honestly if Ren wanted to date this girl she rejected would have been better for dating experience instead of Mizuki. With all the characters coming in I hope each one finds love. We still don’t know who’s Sui’s crush. Can’t wait to see the reveal.
