This is actually a very good manga, colour me impressed; takes what appears to be a simple premise, and keeps twisting it and introducing new variables every now and then to push the characters further and further. This is what a good story does.

I think a good ending for it would be if he managed to die in her place; after so long, and so much pain, I really don't think he can just let her stay dead. But he'd find peace if she lived and he died.
