I reread this from the beginning, anyone else pick up on precog powers from Kuroi? Or maybe time looping or something similar. When I read the first chapter all those years ago I thought it was just trying to make him the "edgy/lazy genius" archetype but it definitely seems like he has some kind of recognition of events in the narrative before they occur.
