You don’t get sick just from not drying off. I’ve played in sprinklers and never dried off, and I didn’t get a high fever. And sure, the ocean is a lot more dirty than sprinkler water, but it would be an extremely low chance for someone getting sick from ocean water.

I will never understand fever in anime, its so much exaggerated i think cuz me i was SICK I STILL GOT TO SCHOOL there was once, i throw out 2 times in the morning so i didn't go but that's it soooo how come this guy just swim and he has fever im dumb enough to shower for an hour and not even have a fever, at a max i cough a bit but that's it ,or maybe im the strange one well ANIME'S FEVER IS STRANGE

@Yolomax idk about you but for me when I had a fever I felt light headed and stuff and wearing very warm coats still felt cold. I had to go home and take a very hot shower to fell better after that I slept until it was morning.

To anyone that wants to know the real meaning of the translation note at the end 「降りかかる火の粉は払わねばなるまい。」
In english it means “For You must brush away the falling embers”(because embers can start a fire, it’s a metaphor for getting rid of potential danger)

I think my issue so far with this series compared to Kenichi is the MC.

Pseudo Kenichi clone keeps being saved, never really uses wit and is a passively written character instead of active. Kenichi at least grew better over time and felt more grounded. This MC feels like a parody of Kenichi when hes being cowardly.

The other issue is this is riding too close to HSDK plotwise heck first chapter you just change it back to martial arts and bam its the HSDK ch1.
