I'm afraid this manga will never reach again the levels of fanservice of the early volumes. Especially cause mangamutiny apparently was able to obtain raws that were even more uncensored than the regular volumes raws.

Man, I am 200 eps in and I just keep thinking. I wish I was reading Kenichi. I guess this is what happens when you peak and try to copy (not greatly) your own formula

Man.... that was certainly... A manga of all time.... But for real, the fact that the final act takes 70 chapters about of a total of 300, and after that there are extra chapters that give "closure", makes it feel a lot of time was wasted.

Strongest disciple Kenichi was my first manga and for a long time it was also my favorite. Now, after reading what was available of Tokiwa Kitareri and now this one, I have the feeling Matsuena Shun peaked back then and has not reached that height again. At least Tokiwa had a more refreshing and interesting concept, but Kimi Wa 008 feels extremely derivative of kenichi. Of course, I am not gonna pretend that Kenichi was a perfect manga, but it executed the "power creep" concept perfectly.

Maybe I am just jaded after reading so much manga and that enjoyment comes out of nostalgia, but I really hope master Shun's next work is better (if there is one)
