Let’s clarify some of you guys’ concerns:
- We’ll be getting banned.
Answer: Simply, no. Kawai Scans history has been completely erased. The series we’ve used to do, some got taken up by KDT Scans and here is some we’ll be doing. In the MD, since the series is not copyrighted nor breaking any rules of MD, nothing will happen. We’ll be sure to comply with the rules and update timing.
- What happened to Kawai Scans?
Answer: You guys will find out either way. But the owner of kawai scanlation is my best friend. So I don’t want to see him get humiliated again nor I want to see this scanlation getting destroyed. If you’re curious, you’re free to research. You can discuss between each other but we, the staff team wouldn’t be helping you on any of your case, meaning what you’ll know might be a rumour or facts? No one knows.

from what I remember there was a chapter 1 posted before this but most likely was deleted during the purge.

While this particular "case" is solved, more often than not the most useful tool is the MangaUpdates link. You'll be able to find out if it was a group that was likely purged for paywall violations (like Asmodeous or Tukii), or someone else.

Not trying to be annoying, but could you mind to explain to the people who are out of the loop on what happened to Kawai Scans, and your take on it? If your ultimate goal is to preserve your friend (Kawai scans owner) reputation, then I think it would be better if you clearly state your case here instead of vaguepost your way to those who may be a returning audience

I don't remember the details but some stuff happened that was along the lines of arguing with a mangadex staff and the end result was that the group is no longer on mangadex any chapters they had posted are also gone. So nothing worth worrying too much about just internet drama.
