Anyway thanks for the TL. Still don't know how I feel about his weird lack of emotiveness and strange sense of priorities, but maybe there's an actual reason that's simply not been revealed/explored yet for why he is the way he is.

I really don't buy this being the play, though - given the quality of the author's previous work.

It's the 3rd chapter; there's still plenty of time to develop characters and backstories and motivations, so I'm holding faith that the ML has actual in-world context for his demeanor.

Also feels like this chapter is hinting at Yutaka becoming like Aru in the future? The whole 'oh btw yeah if you keep hanging around her while she's like that you could end up like this" feels like it's pointing at that.


Still curious about chapter one's 'the end of world came to save me" line so i do hope next chapter will be ML focused

She is a yandere.
OCD/Possessive? Check
Murderous? Check, but reined in by bf
Stalking? Oh, she keeps tabs on him alright if this chapter's use of "marking" means anything. But we don't know the full extent of her powers yet.
The introduction of the new girl was rather forced through awkwardly. Like htf does someone of her ability not know about Aru and tried to use force without proper investigation? Maybe in a more amateur/less serious story line I can accept it, but this meeting event just felt off.

On page 24 she’s translated as saying “cat thief” but was she not saying dorobouneko here? Which while directly translated means thieving cat, I think homewrecker would be a better translation here.

There are only two types of girls, the childhood friend and the dorobōneko!!!. I guess we meet the latter here. I feel kind of bad for Yutaka: both of them have no sense of personal space... There is not a single character in this manga that acts like a human, as monster romance manga tend to go lol

If foreign bodies and ability users have existed for millennia, what makes Aru and the Onset so special? Why have we not seen magical peeps work with the Immune System yet, which seems to take a scientific approach to all of this? Every chapter so far has raised more questions than answers.
