The one Prez is wearing is essentially what they wear nowadays. It's not cute at all. I personally don't care for school swimsuits but the anime specific one-piece + bloomers one is at least better than modern school swimsuits.

No these are shorts. When I say bloomers I'm talking the old Japanese gym bloomers. Anime school swimsuits are a two piece of gym bloomer-like bottoms and one piece top is what I mean.

Isn't that for track and field? I've always seen the full one-piece school swimsuit, closest I can think of is the one swimsuit males wear(the one usually depicted with horizontal stripes)
