I bet that Clover person is actually an another version of Yotsuha from that is actually setting up main Yotsuha to be Uichi's saviour so he ends up with her. I think it's either because Clover is from a timeline where Uichi ended up with somebody else and forgot all about Yotsuha or Clover is the future version of current Yotsuha that does all of this to establish a loop that always leads to Uichi and Yotsuha dating

Okay, so "Yotsuba" was present even when Uichi was a child, which raises the likelihood of them being a time traveler by quite a bit. This chapter also helps to explain why Uichi's mom never seemed to care that he was apparently bullied.
