The father is by far the creepiest character in this series, even more so than Mr. Baseball Bat. I hope they delve more into him as he's a stereotype that I've never seen taken to this extreme before. He also seems to be in the forefront for a lot of the misery in the family, supporting his daughter's neet behaviour, never being there for his spiraling wife. And at every opportunity something good happens in Uichi's life, he's been among the most horrible detractors.I mean, isn't the issue with the dad that he didn't change? When things are going good and he's doing his "good dad" shtick, it works well. When things are going bad, his attitude doesn't work out at all because he doesn't adapt to everyone's worsening mental health
im pretty sure the big reveal will be, she is the person who did all that. The black haired neet dude doesnt seem so much like a red herringTech girl a little bit sus.
It wouldn't be wrong, would it?You made it look like dying is the only thing that brought him peace.
Given her tech skills I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Fuu being Clover. However, she hasn't done anything that makes me suspicious of her quite yet.I am 90% sure the evil mastermind is their other childhodd friend, the tech genius, anybody with me?
My gut tells me the guy might be innocent, but definitely knows something.im pretty sure the big reveal will be, she is the person who did all that. The black haired neet dude doesnt seem so much like a red herring
Funny you call Yae a stalker when its heavily implied Yae never talked to Yotsuba ONCE in the years they spent apart (too focused on killing Uichi), not even sending letters like Uichi originally did (mind you, he still thinks Yotsuba is living in an orphanage with no parents as seen in the current timeline, which is wrong with what we know now). The fact he has a phone at this point and still didn't track down Yotsuba says a whole lot about how selfish his "love" really was, thought I doubt that needs to be said at this point. Also spoilers, the next chapters imply it got worse in other timelines but I won't say how.I think Idol-otaku-chan isn't bad, Mr. Class President might be an ass, but he's like that towards everyone.
Mom is redeemable, as seen in the "main" timeline. But [Good Father], big sis, and creepy stalker should just burn in hell.
Especially dad. He should just die several times over and over, getting the Jigoku Shoujo treatment every time
Don't we know Mr. Utsu's backstory already. His mom and older sister told him to prioritize his family's happiness, and Mr. Utsu took it the worst way possible. It is clear he became complacent at some point with the downward spiral of his family, thinking he is good father and husband for giving his daughter money, giving his wife "words of encouragement" and giving attention to his son when he (Mr Utsu) is around, not seeing how he is enabling his daughter's laziness and selfishness, making his wife's mental health tank, and is so ignorant of Uichi's life he doesn't even remember his allergy information. We don't need to know more cause that is the theme of the series, people don't need to have complex backstories or personalities to be evil, they just need to have some bad trait taken to the extreme, be it aggression, jealously, laziness, despair or complacency. The father is by far the creepiest character in this series, even more so than Mr. Baseball Bat. I hope they delve more into him as he's a stereotype that I've never seen taken to this extreme before. We've seen how many times he's had to give up on his dream of becoming a vet due to the father insisting that he pay it off for some contrived delusion that a "a good family sticks together", and that's just one example.
But thanks a bunch for the TL! Keep enjoying this series a bunch. Though I can't bring myself to watch the new anime of 'Tapoki's Original Sin' while still reading this, though. That'd be a bit much on my psyche. ( I read the manga for Takopi back in the way and oooh, boooy... That thing is even somehow every more miserable than this. Real good, though.)
The author isn't surviving that. Thanks for your works
She is not rewinding time, she is imaging a better scenario to support the reality
Don't do that, please.Might be the pessimist in me but I have a feeling black haired supportive friend wobbling as she leaves is not out of sadness but because she finds toying with yotsuha hilarious.
Black haired girl being this nice feels out of place.
With how dark this manga is be prepared for anything bro. The only one we can trust in is blonde hater since he pretty much dgaf xDDon't do that, please.
"It's all in le head" all over again, Pyro would have been madThe fandom will tear the author if this is the case
A prior chapter showed how he wanted Uichi to stand up for himself, but when push comes to shove he will out the bullies and denounce their ideology, as seen with how he outs and antagonizes Yae for manipulating Uichi in one timeline.Honestly, as blunt as he is, i kinda like the class pres.
Like he maybe coulve done somezhi g about the bullying but aside from that he seemed pretty reasonable.
