Meaning they have has no idea if a plan of theres has already been done already and she knows or not, at the same time though, if their smart, then Rikka's action was a Thanatos Gambit where they predicted that Yotsuba already knew everything about Rikka already, but not on them as if she did, Yotsuba would have already directly "DEALT" with them already, meaning she doesn't know their identity. Yes but if Rikka's plan had gone through then I think that would qualify for the type of emergency that would warrant the watches use, as well as being a very simple fix, predicting that she would take her to the roof ahead of time and planting your phone there isn't exactly a flawless plan considering there are many other places with no witnesses she could have taken her, unless you're suggesting she has enough phones to place in all those spots and she also had enough time to set them all up like that in a hidden enough way that no one would spot and remove them.
