Rikka was better as another one dimensional villain. I'd be fine with a "privileged character finally faces adversity, and is in denial about wanting it" arc, but turning that into a just as one dimensional masochist makes me physically cringe while reading.

This was always a story that had cartoonishly evil/1D antagonists, and I used to be fine with that. But I won't be for much longer if it keeps going this direction
