Tbf I had a hard time believing many bullying stories since in my school, even if your traits were of a loser, people wouldn't go out of their way to ridicule you for it.
Until I heard the stories from my sister, that is. She wasn't bullied but her classmates were. She is 7 years younger than me and I couldn't fathom why she was admitted to some random private elementary school (that I didn't think it was even good anyway, which is the whole point of private). Looked like my parents learned though, and admitted her to a public middle school that was considered to be favorite.
Edit: Wait, no. I remembered that I was technically being bullied when I was in elementary school too, lmao. The difference was I actively and aggressively fought back, encouraged by my parents lol. It's fair game as long as I didn't make the first move in their eyes, even if I threw a wooden chair on his face. It was just a single kid, though, known for being a problem kid. It's only "technically" cuz everytime he tried to bully me (and only me for some reason), I fought back so it turned into a bloody fight instead. He eventually being expelled softly from school though. No wonder. Definitely the dullest tool in the shed.
