Lots of mentally unwell characters in this story, huh (maybe all of them are?). I like how the mangaka doesn't just tell you that, but also shows how exactly it affects the characters' thoughts, judgement and actions. I find MC's characterization especially convincing because of his tics, and now Yotsuha too shows a weakness.
And is that the dad, of all people, that shows up in the '...stress...' panel on page 8? I wonder what's up with him.

From what I managed to understand in the Spanish chapters

it was a setup, there is a dude who was friend with MC and Female lead in this school, he likes the Female lead, and don't like how she was close to MC when they were kids, so he created a fake account on social media with MC name, where he talk shit for being smart, MC have really good grades, so for the rest of school MC is an asshole who acts nice in person, but talks shit about everyone in the internet
now I am wondering how everyone believed that straight up, and didn't ask him if that was the case, even if they thought he was lying and not... Just going and seeing who he really is even behind his back (I know it was possibly kids etc) anyone could easily tell that he isn't doing it/did it. So part of me has a hard time believing a simple thing like that would cause like... everyone is hate him so much.

From what I remember was a gradual thing, it started small, but things started to escalate till it get to this point, not everyone hates MC, but the people who don't hate him just don't care

Japanese society emphasizes group dynamics; don’t go against the group, just follow along.

In a group, if five people want to go somewhere and two don’t, the two are expected to agree, or they’ll be seen as "not reading the room." If four dislike someone for w/e reason, the others are pressured to share that view. If they don’t, they risk being seen as going against the group and becoming targets of the same dislike. (And this isn’t just a kid’s thing, stories like this happen in the workplace too.)

This is why bullying in Japan is almost always a group targeting one individual, rather than one-on-one. Not everyone in the group may dislike the bullied person, but no one wants to stand out, especially if the bullying is severe. The fear of becoming the next target often makes the bullying worse.

I imagined her screams with a certain voice actress in mind and... Well... I kinda don't want this to get a animated ever solely because it'd be too much to actually hear those screams...

Bro same, except that's exactly why I want to see it animated. I feel like, with how the visuals change depending on tone, this could be quite the visually stunning anime to accompany the story and dialogue.

Nah. We see his character, and it's not bad at all. He's very intelligent, scoring near the top of his class even though he's currently being MEGABULLIED. He's driven, being able to cast aside everything going on with his family and his life to focus on his dream of being a vet. He's empathetic, still caring about his mother even as she has totally lost it. He's brave, too: shielding her from his bully, saying that they can do whatever they want to him, but not to hurt her.

The thing about this story that's making it compelling to me is that Yotsuha looks and sounds like a moeblob, head empty, bright and cute girl, but she's acting that way as part of a deliberate plan that she has thought deeply about, and seems to have done several times, finding failure points along the way. She has a very good reason to like the guy, and she's so attached to him because she has lost him already. Multiple times. She blames herself, partly; in her dream you see that her tears make him turn away and kill himself.

Her love is so fanatical, her joy so intense, her personality so vibrant because she has lost him before. She's doing everything she can to avoid losing him again.
I think he meant the crush usually isn't mutual from jump, or just that it's normally the guy who likes the girl at first.

This is how I do when I'm depressed. Crying in bed because you remember something that shouldn't.

After I cried, I slept like it was nothing.
