I was somewhat right in my prediction from before. My original theory was that we would see her get the revenge in depth and then realise it would destroy Uichi, but we are skipping to the "fix it" route.

I think it could be her that’s doing this from a future where either Uchi leaves her or betrays her. What if she had the original timeline where she was with Uchi he did something cruel to her so she went back in time to ruin his life but a paradox happened where their was still her younger self.
