I like the approach, she's not a phycho which she has the right to be after all these time jumps. Yotsuba is trying to understand in her own way what makes a family and I love that she realises that the edgelord way of just getting rid of them doesn't work.

The mom had nothing to do with any of this tbh. She's a victim too.😭

You gotta wonder how he landed a job, a wife, and two kids with a head that doesnt even have half a braincell
It's likely a coping mechanism to deal with everything around him. He wants to believe everything is as good as he hopes it is.

Ooo, now there's a fun little subversion with Yotsuha deciding to help them.

Author is dropping really big hints this chapter. "Light" and "Darkness" on the cover page and the ending page with Yotsuba on it? Yotsuha being shown as our cute little psychopath in this chapter? Theorists be eating good.

Ngl I like the tone change time to time from despair to hope.

I'm not the biggest fan of "Future/Alternate Yotsuha is actually the bad guy!" but it's really pointing towards that now. Not sure how it would make sense, there is still that gloomy guy that Uichi was scared of. I do like how oblivious Yotsuha is about family, really shows how she's not perfect in her love of Uichi.

It definitely isn't F/A Yotsuha.

I think we got a glimpse of the true bad actor from Uichi's brief flashback when Yotsuha asked him about evil spirits.

So, Uichi probably betrayed someone once...and is getting more comeuppance than he should.

That Yotsuha has a clover is related to what Uichi gave him, but the bad actor using it is using it to mean revenge.
