Bit of advise for readers: this one came out in tandem with the Short Series, and the first case of this series draws reference to the other. Odds are, this will continue, and will be present in the Short Series as well. I get that scanlators would have to commit to one over the other, but by consequence not every reference can be cited by folks who have only read the scanlations.

For now, know that the first two volumes of the Short Series is the immediate successor to the original series, but they haven't been completed yet.

One of the Kousuke Kindaichi novels (Honjin Murders) recently got an official translation into English, and another (Inugami Curse) is coming out soon. Has anybody read / will read them?
