It's so rare to see a passionate defense of going out to watch a movie theatrically. That was nice.

I’ll go to the theatre for movies where the experience is enhanced by the big screen. For example, movies with a lot of action and special effects (Indiana Jones is a great example), or movies with particularly amazing cinematography (think Lawrence of Arabia). Otherwise, the prices, cell phones, and rude chatty people keep me away. I’d rather watch at home.
