For those who don’t know, the yoyo she used for this is pretty much the GOAT of yoyo.

It is Bandai Stealth Raider model which is part of Hyper Yoyo series of Yoyo. Hyper Yoyo has caused the Japanese Yoyo boom and nowadays Bandai has kept making these, Stealth rider is a vintage so to speak.

Yes, when you are doing looping tricks, depending on which hands and directions, the strings may tighten or loosen. In her case, it’s more of the finger loop slips out of her taped middle fingers. It broke the lamps.

There is another YoYo division that would cause even more damage than this called freehand which basically making your YoYo function like a parabola+nunchaku.
