From what I saw last chapter, I thought that was the case.but I'd prefer if he had just decided he respected the kid's spirit and wouldn't invade up until he was done going down.
It was the author's way of avoiding writing anything more complicated than fights. The loredumps of the LNs vol 2 and 3 are nearly irksome.I don't quite understand the logic of "Up there is a place worth protecting, not a battlefield". Battlefields are made because people want to protect things.
I realize from a meta standpoint it's because unleashing him on the human world right now would be significantly harder to write and he would reasonably die, but I'd prefer if he had just decided he respected the kid's spirit and wouldn't invade up until he was done going down.
My brother wtf did I just read....not only its lazy writing but come on, This is just slowing down and stretching it out whatever speed first volume had. Author turns into gege just for the sake of vibes lol. btw thanks for spoiling tho, even tho I did predict the title is gonna be dropped somewhere but after that is just meh writing. It was the author's way of avoiding writing anything more complicated than fights. Now the minotaur will
go all the way down the the 100th floor and farm the final boss monster (a dragon, if I remember right) to a point where the dragon doesn't even respawn anymore and he becomes the new final boss monster of the labyrinth (hence the title of the series). then he's going to sit on his ass killing adventurers who attempt to kill him until adult Panzel shows up and fights him. Then the guy who is accompanying Panzel to serve as a witness tries to kill Panzel because he believes that Panzel will betray the kingdom (because Panzel is a commoner who became too strong), the minotaur saves Panzel, then give Panzel one of the swords that the dragon dropped for him.
Panzel will then use this sword a lot and die from poisoning because the sword slowly corrodes the user if used outside of the labyrinth (the minotaur was unaware of that). Then Panzel's son becomes the new MC and the story goes to shit.
The way I see it, he's viewing it as "If he's that desperate to stop me, then that's not a battleground, that's where the non combatants are. Everything going up is weak, so the beings up there must be even weaker"I don't quite understand the logic of "Up there is a place worth protecting, not a battlefield". Yeah, basically this. Battlefields exist to protect things, definitely, but unless it's unavoidable they're intentionally in places separate from what must be protected, to avoid destroying it (unless it's a last stand situation, where you don't have a choice). The way I see it, he's viewing it as "If he's that desperate to stop me, then that's not a battleground, that's where the non combatants are. Sounds like the author wants or is forced to drag the story longer than it should have to. That sucks. It was the author's way of avoiding writing anything more complicated than fights. The loredumps of the LNs vol 2 and 3 are nearly irksome.

The story prolly good if minotaur take adventure to other labyrinth and conquer them.Sounds like the author wants or is forced to drag the story longer than it should have to. That sucks.
....yeah, I think I'll just go back to my trash isekai Re:Monster...It was the author's way of avoiding writing anything more complicated than fights. The loredumps of the LNs vol 2 and 3 are nearly irksome.
