You know, that dad wouldn't have lost her if he just acknowledge her effort and guide her. Sure she could end up in a battlefield as he feared instead of living a happy life as an ordinary person, but at least she is in his reach to protect. Instead, he ruthlessly reject it and drive her to do stupid stuff for recognition in places so dangerous and far from his reach that this happen.

For those wondering why I I'm attacking this manga, after pirating volume 01 of the LN, I bought the whole set (3 volumes)

we will not see Minotaur again untill the end of the story after this arc ends, focus will be set in the kid that managed to hurt Cow-chan in floor 1 and later his son, and is just a generic story without anything special unlike the development of Minotaur until now
... What a stupid thing to do. Hope author never finds success in his life

This might not have been the smartest decision, but it definitely was one that will bring him more fun
It's certainly one way to curb MC's powerlevelling, if only a little bit. It would be pretty easy to keep using the shield that can block everything as a deus ex machina every time some adventurer is about to deal a killing blow (especially when he can just pull it out of nowhere with that pocket space inventory)

Someone with similar mind. Just what's wrong with Dad in manga and anime and their bloated masculinity geez man. Why they so afraid and awkward just on telling her the truth, be honest with her, and sit it down like fellow adult father and daughter.
