I almost admire how all the "sexy" ladies in this manga just have the most cartoonist bolt-ons. It's like the artist wants to represent a "sexy lady" for narrative purposes but has no interest in actually depicting her as such. So we get this crude drawing, and its back to the lovingly detailed battle scenes.

...on the other hand, he still hasn't learned how to draw arm musculature not horse anatomy, despite their prominent role in his story. So.

@pdonk I don't really think the aim here is realism. Many of the designs and characters remind me of Baki and are done kind of in a absurd unrelaistic way on purpose. This is very broadly a historical fiction mixed with very real battle tactic and scenarios.

The author has done absurd amounts of research into the warfare of the warring states era and the actual battles and character dramas are just for the readers to have something to distract them from the crazy amount of detailed warfare analysis.
