I don't get why he wouldn't assume their would be a trap or precautions set up at this etype of cliff. This is right next to the Qin capital. I would assume the Qin know the land exceedingly better than an idiot "reading the mountains" for the first time.

@maisonaustyn did you not pay attention to when Ordo had a flashback of Riboku explaining Ousen's character to him? He had no reason to expect a trap after having Ousen character explained to him by the smartest man in the whole series.
