Mouten won't die in a place like this. Historically I'm pretty sure he survives and is put in charge of building the world's second greatest wall (although he didn't make the neighbors pay for it)

where the hell were Akou's guards anyways? in Shin's first battle against Zhao (the one where Ouki died) the commander that he was charged of killing (i think his name was Fuuki) was completely surrounded by bodyguards!

this is another case of author favouritism leaning towards Lebumku as always

He just sent his elites forward. He did the same mistake than fuuki in the ouki war.
But yeah, it's weird he didn't at least keep an honor guard of 300 or something
