That's the problem, he doesn't want to conquer China, he wants to unify China, things that kanki does will hurt people trust in him, they do all this war because it's necessary, but if they have option to not go to war and kill people he will take that option, what kanki shows here is proof that he doesn't share same ideology and the reason he do this war only for the thrill of taking someone else life

Exactly man, it seems that people reading this don't understand that to unify China they will need PEOPLE, you won't achieve that by executing unarmed soldiers and inciting hatred among the Chinese population.
