It's been years of reading now and still almost each chapter of Kingdom is exciting.

It's rough on the spots and looks plain at first, but this is the most titanic work of a manga I've read. Unlike most of the other long manga, it never loses quality, it just keeps going on, without betraying its own past, but instead building on it. And it publishes weekly, which is GREAT.

Love to Hara and to the translators.

11 Volumes in and I can say this was a great choice to read! Both Serious and Comedic, Emotional and Intense! It is one of the best stories I've embarked upon in some time.

Dammit, I'm 189 chapters in... I suppose it is a Seinen, but so far it had been devoid of... Well, Sex... Sure it's fleeting, But, I still hate that... I really like this series too... It shouldn't continue right? Fist of the Blue Sky was way worse now that I think about it!

Okay, 20 volumes in, and I'm good again! If anything that first love scene was sort of comical, Ryo Fui looked so over it all, just blank faced. Like "Just get this over with" XD

I feel that chapters 808 and 809 were deliberately released simultaneously and it worked to great effect in cementing Tou as my absolute favorite character in the series as a whole right now. If it didn't, it was still a very happy accident that occurred for the same effect.

Haven't even read Kingdom yet aside from the first 2 volumes but I know this will be one of my favourites.
Just gotta keep it for when I'm in need of a masterpiece.

How long do we have to wait on Sense Scans to upload before another scanlator group can take charge of the English translation? I can sympathize with their volunteer and time issues but if you just can't do it in a timely fashion anymore then you should fold as a group and let someone else take charge. I'm sure there are plenty of quality scanlators itching to pick up a manga as popular as Kingdom.

Agreed. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful for the work Sense Scans have put in, but why take on a scanlation project that you clearly don't have time for? It's disheartening as a fan to see the Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic scanlations get uploaded on schedule while we have to wait months between chapters.

Sense Scans, please do us a favor and either find new team members or reach out to another group that actually want to be doing this. Again, grateful for the work and quality of the scanlations, but this isn't sustainable for you or the readers.

Sensescans are top tier, they could go pro at any time. Kingdom is one of the mangas where good translation and interpretation is important, I would rather wait a few months than have some rando with an ai translator doing the job. I hope all is well on their side and my best wishes to them.

Kingdom wouldn't be picked up by some hack with an AI translator. It's very popular and definitely has multiple scanlator groups vying for the rights to take it over. At the end of the day Sense is good but not uniquely qualified. They need to hand the reigns over because their workload is piling up in a way that is going to become harder and harder to work out of.

Yeah, I've dropped this one for now... 200 chapters in, I really liked it but it doesn't keep my interest for long. I really did like it
Unique Art Style, A good story, somewhat good pacing. There're some major and minor reasons, some petty, others sensible. But, moreover all of them, when I read something I like, I can't put it down. Kingdom is something I can forget about.
