I think it depends on the tags on the official site? And the focus is probably more on the mystery/horror aspect than the mysterious boy/chara ending up having sex with the MC or so "Jaa, Kimi no Kawari ni Korosou ka?" also doesn't have a BL tag even tho i think the 'classmate' in that series might have gay undertones too tho i would consider this but you could report the series and ask to put a bl tag, tho it might not be accepted, i've had some added tag corrections for one series but got 'refused' on one series on adding a 'yuri/gl' tag for "She is beautiful" despite the MC of that canonically being attracted to her chidlhood friend
(as well as the series) with her also ending up with a female partner in the end, tho the note just said 'refused' but no explanation
or like Sensitive Boy having a 'gay questioning arc' but not counting as bl either
Tho maybe it 'doesn't count' yet if they're just violent/murder-sexual lol
(plus skimming the raws that black haired boy literally kisses the menhera girl, it was to suck some soul?/possesed demon out but still lol)
so yeah, i guess even if there's not more explicit scenes, if you have that reaction just based on this first chapter, i guess the next chapters probably aren't worth reading too
Interesting there's a supernatural tag too, so i guess it means ghosts/demons confirmed as opposed to that one boy being a fucked up sociopath
Him making her 'sign' the contract in blood is def some kinda foreshadowing/ending up with him reaping her soul or some shit lol

Another group translated this chapter first/already so maybe you could contact them and collab if you can?
I understand people's confusion about this manga, if it really is BL why did this quote happen here in the author's tweet where there is a person who also asked the same question and then discovered that it is not a BL.

I mean his sexual awakening was more so that guy violently hurting someone as opposed to like seducing him in the “usual” way but I’d be more interested in the psychological/horror aspect of the story (tho I’m sure there’d be shipping of the toxic dynamic undertones like “I want him to kill me” , I remember ppl speculating the main guy from “brutal” being gay bc even the language in the official English about his first love was vague and being like “I wish I could’ve killed you myself” lol)
