Something something-he's technically not a 'man', demons(?) don't count as being gay? 8D; (but i guess being attracted to a non human/genderless kinda entity isn't fully straight either) But yeah he does seem very psycho/hajime-sexual at least , it is weird that he seems to prefer the taste of women souls since it feels like it shouldn't matter either way but it would be interesting if this artist also did a bl. Either with or without a psych tag but some kinda 'air of mystery' but it still being slightly 'normal' seeming, ppl might wait for the other shoe to drop versus nothing underhanded happening in another series versus the author being typecasted(?) into only being known for darker works lol

Apparently, the artist did do BL. I looked it up on other works they have done. Oh yeah! The closest thing I've seen that relates to eating a human soul from a kiss is the dementor.

I see, guess that's why ppl thought that at first (tho the author and artist is a diff person but it'd be nice if the same team worked together in the future too, I kinda wanna see a 'toxic yuri' from maria no danzai's artist XD)

i wonder if hajime is an incubus-like entity 🤔 this has been great though. i love a pathetic protagonist like this who struggles with his morals/self-perception as a good person v. his sexual desire. acting as essentially bait for hajime to find vulnerable women is an interesting dynamic, i can't wait to read more.
