Either the spirit gets more corrupted after death /that 'super moon' interfered or maybe he really wasn't the bio-father and all the accidents were attempting to kill the baby directly (i thought they were dating, not married? i guess there was a page focusing on her ring coming off but japan tends to have 'couple' rings too rather than only for engagement/marriages, not like it matters too much at this point tho)

Tho other than the body magically disappearing it'd be kinda hard to explain a dead pregnant woman in one's clinic unless the 'soul sucking' comes off as a 'heart attack' in an autopsy lol

Well the last girl was a trouble maker but other than her being some empty/comatose shell/husk, it would be a bad thing if the sister sees her dead body in MC's office lol. But otherwise , i doubt even if the other guy got arrested as a demon he wouldn't stay for long.
