It was sad to see such a rare, interesting DILF like Tactician get rejected but I'm happy that our aromantic FMC chose the life and path she wants without budging 💕 Most humans can't live with only romantic love, we need platonic love and friendships to truly flourish. Platonic love is seriously underrated! I hope that the three continue to be good friends beyond the manga's ending~

Thank you for scanlating to this series' conclusion!! :win:

But that gave us a lot of his more "pathetic" helplessly in love expression and I think that's overall a win.
Thanks for the scanlation! I'm glad I could read this till the end.

Eyo after so many years, this is finished! Thank you very much, Traumerei!

...I admit I am the kind of loser who will read the last chapter of a series I put on hold, but this time I had a good reason! If they baited me with an aromantic protag just to make her romantically involved with someone in the end, I would not have picked it back up again. Anyways time to go reread and continue where I left off!

Wait hold on sensei, I want to read that new manga. Spinoff please? Please please please?

Ugh the "ew, homosexuals. Can't believe the mangaka turned out to be a fujoshi" is such an annoying sentiment. It's almost as bad as when people feel the need to comment "I hate BL, so I'm dropping/but this is interesting" whenever there is one (1) significant homosexual/bisexual man or relationship, like bro just say you don't like gay people (or actually, don't. Literally that and saying "you don't like BL but" is not something anyone else who is enjoying the series needs to read). There is a chance that they mean they don't like how homosexuality is portrayed in manga, but it's unlikely when they say it in a series where a gay character just Exists

Did not read the entire chapters but I get the gist of the story and really like how the MC stays true to herself until the very end.

Speaking as an aromantic woman myself, thank god she didn't get with either of the guys. I was so scared this was going to be another one of those stories that's like "It turned out she was just afraid of love, and now that she's found the Right Man she's a real person with emotions!" or whatever.
Also I gotta say, the bit earlier on where Assassin thanks Kiryu, and she starts crying because she realizes that her pain will never be relatable to others, but the pain of knowing someone like her is relatable to everyone... Man. That really got me. I've been there, sensei, it's really rough how we're treated as angst fuel rather than human beings (even if Assassin meant well, and I'm proud of him for getting published).

On one hand, I suppose Kiryuu not caving to the others' advances when she's not sure she could reciprocate their feelings is a good thing.
On the other hand, this feels like a non-ending. Kiryuu is still unsure about herself, the two guys apparently did not give up on her... Squint a little and the ending looks very similar to those harems where the author could not bring themselves to pick a winning girl/boy, and left most things open instead. There is very little closure to be had, unfortunately. 😕
