Ex? The protagonist's name is "Ex"?

Was he formerly known as Twitter?

Also shouldn't the synopsis read "Princess Alice" instead of "Prince"? Or is this some sort of grifty BL fakeout to try and sucker the fujoshis into reading it? :dogkek:

That I can understand, but wouldn’t you like it if there’re pictures drawn in it than reading only letters?
Just like the majority of anime is for promoted manga. But maybe it depends on the resource(?) like in manga you need the artist to draw that need a long time but with LN it just some nice illustration and you get the story that maybe triple the length if it make to manga.

Now look I can get that some people don't like this because the story isn't that deep or whatever, but personally, I couldn't care less this stuff is all I need to feel happy in life.

I do wish they have a light novel site like mangadex that is free and visually appealing to find books. anyone have any recommendation?

The concept is nice and the sweetness is there, but the pacing is abysmal. There should be about 3x the amount of chapters with this much plot

The series description is quite inaccurate:

  • Alice is not a princess. She's the "villainess" a prince was originally supposed to marry.
  • The Prince cancels the engagement, not Alice.
  • Alice wasn't engaged to Ex (the MC of this manga), she was engaged to the prince.

"The first prince abruptly ends his engagement to Alice Misty, a duke's daughter. Witnessing this, Ex Loss, the Knight Commander's son, has a sudden recollection of his past life. Transported into an otome game, he recognizes the unfolding events. Refusing to accept the wrongful blame placed on the innocent villainess, Alice, he resolves to protect and claim her. Reincarnated with a mission, Ex cherishes the villainess as his chosen path in this heartwarming tale of love and reincarnation."

Something like that would reflect the actual story better.

It's either MLT or no translation check/proofreading was done after a dozen chapters

Reading it, it felt as if it would climax at the wedding and nuptials.
Its actually refreshing for a manga in an isakai setting to have a conclusion to a relationship, most of them are about the MC being a cuck for their entire life (or chasing after lolis)

This is the greatest fluff isekai that doesn’t go too deep into a plotpoint.

If all you’re looking for is a quick dopamine injection without too much plot to take in, this is for you.

It’s true that the pacing is rather rushed, but regardless of plot holes, its still a very good romance isekai.

There’s also only 1 loli and she’s only around for like half a chapter, so that’s a major plus (i may or may not be biased against lolis).
