Uenohara's carrying this manga hard now, MC seems to be regressing

This MC is pissing me off. For this festival, failing to show common courtesy for the other person regardless of feelings being present or not, a terrible escort for a lady friend in particular, didn't even bother ask about the food and just assumed things, etc.
And my main issue is: if a dude is kissing a girl, regardless of the reasons, he has no business trying to win the affections of her best friend. What if he succeeds but gets caught kissing by said best friend, or anyone for that matter? Friendship between the girls aside, the reputation hit he and FL would receive would be huge, among other various issues. I mean, good for him for being so loyal, but the moment he decided to become Uenohara's "medicine", any intentions with that crush go out the window unless she finds someone else to take his place, even if the two girls aren't besties.
Also, I really hate the "cute, popular, everyone's-crush girl that is clumsy for the express purpose of giving the mangaka an excuse to draw extra panty shots" trope. Tomori is a sweet girl and all but MC is only seeing "the idea" of both girls. He only sees the "goddess" version of Tomori, just as he only sees the "violent and nothing else" version of Uenohara. She's not faultless, given her extreme tsundere tendencies, but you'd think he would notice a thing or two about her feelings from their kisses with how suddenly affectionate she gets. She even gets specifically angry when he brings up Tomori. Like, I get that I'm the one who chose to read this, and this is nothing new for rom-com manga but COME the frick ON.
Anyway, I'll be continuing reading this series. Thank you for the TLs.
