We are gathered here to say farewell to KissManga and to commit it into the hands of God.

Lord our God, you are the source of life. In you we live and move and have our being. Keep us in life and death in your love, and, by you grace, lead us to your kingdom, through your Son, MangaDex, our Lord.

KissManga's death is a tragedy. For you the refugees it's like being left in the dark during a powercut. You feel lost. When the power goes out we search for something to give us light, a candle for example, even a small candle will do.
A candle to give you light at this time is MangaDex. Turn to MangaDex; for it will be the candle that will give some bit of light in the darkness of your lives at this time. You should have no doubt that God is with you in the pain and grief you are suffering. Again and again the Bible tells us that God is close to those who are suffering: "The Lord is close to the broken-hearted." (Ps. 34:18/19) "Blessed are those who mourn, they shall be comforted." (Matt 5:5)
It is natural to feel angry with God at a time like this. Have no fear in telling God exactly how you feel. There’s no point in praying to God with a mask on and feeling something different beneath. Don’t be afraid to share your grief with others. Talk, and talk, and talk. A trouble shared is half trouble. If we are a Weeb community we should be helping people to carry their crosses. Tragedy brings people together, but sometimes only for a while. I trust and pray that the people of this parish will help you to carry your cross for as long as you need.

Dear non-default-pfps and refugees gathered here today...

This day today is a hard one for us all. It is so much easier to mourn in silence; it takes away the worry of not being able to get your words out, or even just simply getting the right words out.

But silence or not, one thing which I am sure we all appreciate today, is being here all together, sharing in each other's silence, sharing in each other's moments of thought for KissManga, what we all loved, as a friend, a loved one, an aggregator, ...our KissManga.

We will all have our own personal and special memories, of the mark KissManga left in our hearts, in our lives and it is very hard for me today to be up here, hearing my own thoughts out loud, trying my best to focus on the happiest times KissManga brought us, rather than the fact that it is no longer here with us today as know it.

I am certain of two things though. It would have wanted us all to be here today with our happiest thoughts of our times spent together and secondly.... It is still here with us, very strongly in spirit.

KissManga was such an aggregator through and through, from ads, shamelessness and the lack of honor. We are all here because somewhere somehow, we have all been touched by KissManga.

For me, it will always be with me. What I will remember will always be how shit it was.

This is what makes it remain with me personally and I am sure that you all have your very own, special and private moments that you will cherish and keep close to your hearts.

We were all very lucky to have had KissManga in our lives and as much as KissManga will be missed by us all, it will remain with us all, every day, as long as we can remember.

We love and miss you KissManga, past, present and future.

Thank you.

All the aggregations
Are rotten to their cores
And end in mass migrations
They come posting to our door

I know that I'm a Member
And my whole Gang I hold so dear
I know I'm a mere poster
But I have hopes and fears
I just wish I could have voiced them in the Golden Years

Endless threads of nonsense
Filled with taunts and bots
Flame wars, accusations
I'm afraid that's all we've got

They say they just don't see it
And claim Disqus' condensed
You just can't find agreement
In their normie heads
We all stem from common websites
Yet lack common sense

Post it loud, post it clear
You can read just as well as you cheer*
It's too late when you're banned
To admit you could use helping hands

So we offer up a welcome
To all the normies and their castes
We only sacrifice the bookmarks
It's the memories that last

So don't misjudge the kouhais
Though some may post the same
They may have some new perspectives
On 'if traps are gay'
And if you teach them right, and teach them well
They may just be O.K.

Post it loud, post it clear
You can read just as well as you cheer
It's too late when you're banned
To admit you could use helping hands

I wasn't there that evening
When my Bookmarks disappeared
I didn't get to save them
I just hope to find them here

I think I read a comment
Later that same year
"Still sad to see KM's gone,
sure nice this place persevered."
I just wish I could have posted in the Golden Years

Post it loud, post it clear
You can read just as well as you cheer
It's too late when you're banned
To admit you could use helping hands

*cheers as in the normies cheering for Solo Leveling
