it's nice she found someone who could expand her worldview, it's fine as a narrative fictional story but i can imagine most ppl, unless they're some kinda teacher or trying to be a role model to someone they know versus a stranger, wouldn't go outta their way to make you 'improve as a person' (because how likely are you to come across someone who could communicate with you like that without necessarily being condescending or them being offended by your opinion on things lol)

and lol the mom taking off is kinda a weird tantrum to have assuming she's acting like that b/c of the daughter
