"Phil" isn't a middle name when it's used like this. It's called a nobiliary particle, and it's generally used to mean "from" like, "del," or "de," or "il," etc (there's a lot of em). Also, a Marquis (pronounced mar•kwiss) was/is most commonly used as the noble rank just under duke, so daddy's pretty high up. Which means, so are the servants. Their servants would all be persons from lower nobility fams with proper educations. So, yeah, she should know a great deal just in general. A LOT of mangakas make me scratch my head, wondering just how little research they did before putting their stories together😅
