Tho if she’s been doing shit like this as a teen, she either has powerful adults backing her or manipulating everyone to be able to become a teacher or so versus anyone else in her past speaking out against it

Lol, so this character is all about history repeating itself, down to the exact same incident happening to her on the first day at a new school, both as a teacher and as a student.

Yeah when reading the "adult version" I wondered if she is doing all this as a form of revenge vs. bullies/society in general rooted in a traumatic childhood experience; or if she was always crazy and manipulative even since childhood. The "adult version" did give some hints that she was basically just born this way, which makes Kasai a definite villain protagonist. That is much more compelling than the typical butthurt avenger MC.

By the way this manga is pretty much another retelling of the Kasai saga lol
