No, I think they called Petla the younger sister when she was first revealed.

Doesn't help that she is the weakest member of the cast, at least if we exclude characters that recently got introduced and infrequent/one-off characters.

Yeah its weird they didn’t build this better. So much of her character has been being the fanservice pedo. Why not use some chapters before this one to have her act differently around Shouta to at least suggest there's an approaching issue she needs to face. Do have her go from cautious and worried one chapter, to then be back to her usual fanservice self, to then be serious again here. It makes it all feel disjointed.

Lucoa's been backseated for so long that I don't care about how her arc's heading. I suspect it'll fall flat anyway. I'm sorry for doubting Coolkyou, but I'm afraid he waited too long.

She's been portrayed as one type of character for so long that it's hard to take her seriously now. Even worse is that you just know since its Lucoa it'll all comeback somehow to shotacon antics with Shouta.

Right? With the cast growing and developing, Lucoa and Shouta have been stuck in a perpetual loop of shotacon antics without real development beyond a few panels. She’s been relegated to the backseat for 10 years, being the seductive woman without merit beyond the occasional voice of reason or minimal connection to Shouta as a character. It’s worse considering that Take and Ilulu, who share a near-identical relationship with Lucoa and Shouta, have expressed development beyond the typical character dynamic, triumphing over the former duo. I love this series and all, and while I largely disagree with the “missed potential” many outsiders harp on, I fear it applies to Lucoa and Shouta, considering the near-infinite possibilities an ex-goddess and young mage could explore together. Coolkyou simply waited far too long to do anything with her, and my expectations are low.
