@L4MD4 It actually happens with a lot of projects, especially research and development. I don't know how often software projects are fruitless, but my buddy's little brother was an actuator for a pretty big insurance firm that dealt in the cargo industry. He got hired to fail as they hired him out of university to work on a worker who left the companies code which wasn't showing results even near the start. Dumby didn't speak up and got further in the shit and got canned, never to get a job in the field again. I don't know if engineers or scientists get fucked like that with a research project, but fuck that sucks going to shchool for 4 to 6 years spending all that money and then get fired from your first job for something that ain't your fault. Then you can't get another job in the field because these are the guys who are supposed to figure out a way to pay the least amount of insurance money out for things that can cost billions of dollars.
How come MC gave up on magic, I thought she did want to learn some
