Yeah - Shinoa's a master at this sort of storytelling.

Can't beat her sense of pacing from panel to panel; and her use of white space just fills the entire scene with emotion, coupled with the delicacy of her pen strokes where you are held just staring at a page, absorbing every minute detail because they're so sparse, and yet nothing feels wasted or superfluous.

As muted as it all is in terms of character expressiveness, the subtlety of it all belies this richness in the narrative that's conveyed through the illustration and its specific style of depiction, and even if you couldn't read the dialogue, you still understand the feelings conveyed, because of how she frames each face, each gesture, each figure and prop.



This was a splendid anthology of work. Thank you for your time and effort in translating it for us.
